TheLawyerWorld is a directory. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and using the site, sending a message to a lawyer, or reading an answer does not create an attorney-client relationship. Confirm a lawyer's licence with the state bar before hiring.

Profiles and claims

Profiles are compiled from public sources and from information lawyers provide after verifying their identity. You may claim only a profile that describes you. False claims are removed and may be reported to the relevant bar.

Reviews and questions

Reviews must describe a genuine experience with the lawyer. We do not accept paid, incentivised, or fabricated reviews and we do not let lawyers suppress negative ones. Questions and answers are public; do not post confidential facts.

Marketing services

Directory profile applications are free. We do not currently offer paid featured listings or profile subscriptions. Optional marketing services require a separately agreed scope and price. A marketing purchase does not bypass profile review or change a lawyer's verification status or review rating.

Acceptable use

No scraping, bulk downloading, automated querying, or use of the site to send unsolicited communications.

Liability

The site is provided as is. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing and are not liable for outcomes of engagements arranged through the site.
